I don't get the point of a Consone break up, I'm sure we will still keep NAPs and Confeds to some degree

Big smile  The war has not ended.  Hath has stated that EE has exited Consone, sort of.  As far as game mechanics are concerned NAP and Confed are identical.

On behalf of the Nightbringers, I'd like to congratulate the ex-members of Consone on their part in this war, and to acknowledge the courage it takes to disband Consone as a power base in the game.
 
From a gaming standpoint, this war gave many of us the opportunity to experience a dimension of the game that for a long time seemed completely out of reach. It's true that the war led to the loss of cities, and some players left, but in the end, this war has shown the Illy community the full breadth of this game, for better or for worse. I for one am glad to have had the opportunity to be a part of it.

For the Coalition, we will obviously need to ascertain the situations surrounding remaining conflicts with individual alliances, and determine the appropriate course of action. But in terms of the ideological aspect of this war, I think that now is a time for magnanimity in victory, and graciousness.

I am announcing on behalf of all Consone members that our confederation will be drawing to an end shortly. All leaders will be changing their diplomacy status to reflect this. NAPS will probably ensue to ensure our troops do not kill each other.
We concede that the Coalition has won their fight against Consone, and all individual alliances will deal directly with H? through the Embassy at a time of their own choosing.
We mourn the loss of  players who preferred the peaceful life, while also acknowledging that, as in real life, sometimes circumstances are not those of one's own choosing. We have all learnt alot in the mechanics of war during this conflict, one that has made everyone stronger!
We salute our opposition, for they have proven mightier over the longer time, and we would not welch on this
I am sure this will cause much consternation and comment throughout Illy, i ask that we move on from here in a positive light
