Complaining is passé. Complaining about complaining is trending on Twitter.

well I was hoping that additional cities would unlock some new playing functions....players should be rewarded with additional functions when putting in additional effort...hopefully it just wasn't just added for prestige spending...it bothers me we hear no rational reason for changing city amount limits...I have to get back to building trade building and playing the out of whack ranking system........

Really? I point you towards the nearest calendar you can see....    you do realize the last tourney began on 25 Apr 2014... last i checked, today is 20 July 2015 . . . kindly inform me of the last 15 month gap between official events...

.. and ..  you honestly want to take the position that adjusting the account decay parameters to theoretically release permasats amounts to major game evolution? (sarcasm rarely translates well in forum banter, so perhaps i am missing your edge and in reality you are making such a weak point in order to highlight the vapidness of all of the recent efforts...)

If you never press for improvement (or even signs of life), be careful, the DEVs may actually meet your expectations.

get your facts right. It's been only couple of months since last dev sponsored involvement. There have been times before where it lasted longer.

I'm not saying you shouldn't voice your thoughts, I was trying to make people aware of the good things that have been done, also lately, rather then to focus on the things that didn't happen.

People cried a long time about permasats, but a few weeks after their dismissal everybody had forgotten the work of the devs. And now, a few months later, we're complaining about the side effect of that, the chance to build more then 10 cities. Everyone may speak their minds about how they feel the game should change, and what they feel the devs should do, but some people just sound ungratefull.

Simple fact, throughout Illy history there has never been a span of lack of DEV sponsored involvement that even remotely approaches the present period of "inertness"  . . .  yea many find the present state unfortunate, and perhaps, just perhaps . . .  if enough voices cry out... somthing might change . . .

As a little dutch boy I know there's more things then just fingers you can stick in a dike.

Maybe all you complainers should be thinking about the time you're allready playing this game. It's not easy to keep people interested in a single game for several years, no matter how much you change. Or it is fun for us veterans but no fun to new players.

I don't think accounts really needed more then 10 cities. On the other hand I don't see any downside to it either.

And to remind some of you: this year there have been several changes, and for me they've made things interesting again. Sorry if you get bored with it, and the changes made couldn't change that, but maybe it's just time for you to see other games. Or hope the devs got something left to stick in somewhere... Shocked

Most likely the only explanation, that coupled with the fact that "adding" it to the game required likely very little more than changing a value in a couple lines of code for the population needed at each increment... not exactly a massive investment in coding resources.

It succeeded in bleeding a burst of prestige from me certainly, and I had hoped that something more was in the offing....   a vain hope given the resulting vacuum ...  all of the last series of game advances required little work on the technical side, and seemed like stopgap measures at best....  more akin to the little dutch boy sticking a finger in the the dike rather than actually investing the capital to rebuild it.

... its dripping again... and me thinks the little dutch boy is rapidly running out of fingers . . .

I find the idea of having more cities more desirable than trying to juggle two accounts. As such, although I'm a small player with only one village, I look forward to being able to grow! :D
