CSV format datafiles

   Given the number of folks that have got in touch with me regarding problems using the XML datafiles in spreadsheets I thought I'd publish CSV versions of some of them (these are a by-product of my processing the files to put them in a database) and are updated daily at just after 00:30 Illy time each day.

The datafiles are available at: https://illystuff.uk/illydata/data/csv/

The complex structure of the alliances datafile has been simplified by splitting it into three parts. alliances.csv is the main data, allianceRoles.csv is the various roles defined in each alliance and allianceRels.csv is the various diplomatic relationships for each alliance.

There is also a coastalTowns.csv file which holds the full town data but only for those towns which are within 5 tiles of the coast.

Each file has a description line at the start showing what fields are in each.

More 'specialist' files may be added in the future.

	if anybody needs tools to extract data from xml files, I'd be ready to develop the necessary xslt transforms… (this is within my main skills, ;-) )
