The Con Orc was suspended ingame (added to the deletion queue) at his own request via Petition.

Oh, I thought that you get suspended if you say publicly you are quiting the game.

The only way you can close an account is currently via a Petition from the account holder, although we will be automating this function via the Account Management screen in the future. Regards, SC

Should you really people telling people that? It doesn't make much difference but it seems like a breach of privacy to me, especially considering he requested for the account to be closed.

He was only inevitably answering what you asked and it is not a breach of privacy if TCO before posted on the forums he was leaving. He therefore did not mind people knowing he was leaving the game so it would seem pointless that it would need to be kept secret that he requested it. Also by just telling you the reason for his suspension it immediately expels any implications or thoughts of any other reason he may hav e been suspended (for any actions or other such things)

But it stops rumor-mongering that perhaps TCO violated standards of conduct. So it protects his reputation in that sense.
It's not like it's medical or financial or personal information about the human. It does let us know that he is eligible to open a new account, though.
