   MY alt, an elf,  sieged and took a human city...HOWEVER it still builds battlebreds instead of Elven thoroughbreds. I submitted a support petition but have heard nothing. will somebody please look into the matter? thanks  Dragonwort

	Researching another crafting tech will give you the Elven Thoroughbreds and you'll be able to make either.

	Yeah, captured cities keep all their discoveries, even the ones that might not be particularly useful to the new owner.

	Actually. once you refresh your game after the seige, you should be able to craft both the elven and battlebred, as long as the research was done and awarded prior to the seige, and the horse trainer is currently a level (5?), I believe. So rebuild the horse trainer and then check your production que listing.

	So far it looks to me like five (5) Crafting Discoveries are all that are allowed. I have been experimenting to see about getting all of the basic racial crafting discoveries in one city. (not counting HOC's) So far I have both discoveries for Human, Orc but only one Elf. I am going to keep doing Crafting Research for the Elf until I have finished at least 20 additional craft techs. That will be in another 18 days. But my current bet is that no Discovery category allows for more than 5 Discoveries.

	Update: I believe I have solved my problem and will now get all 8 Racial Crafting Discoveries (not counting HOC) in one city. I am feeling pretty stupid about it as it should have been obvious before my previous post. Once I have proven it I will write it up for the forums.
