And now apparently nothing is actually "reaching" its destination... my troops are also just hovering there saying "completed" but with no result.
Time to head to work and hope when I can log back on all will be well

Actually, things are not normal in all areas. Sieges are not functioning, updates to resources (queuing troops or structure builds) are not updating unless you refresh. When I refresh, I am logged out of the game.
I would caution about doing anything important or that would cause you to lose resources or troops until the Devs let us know what is going on.

Thanks for the tip. I only have a couple of minutes to send out stuff before work so my fingers are crossed that this will resolve soon. Given the size and scope of the game I understand the occasional issue :) Still the best thing out there

Just had a look at the network traffic to the server from the in-game scripts. Everything seems normal apart from the lack of chat traffic and the trade movement page - that is asking for updates every second. I'd advise switching from your trade movement page to reduce the load on the server while they are trying to fix the problems...

My building queue is stuck completing a Clay Pit upgrade and my diplomats are stuck completing a scout mission. The same with my vans completing a quest.
