It's exactly what I mean Aneirin. Thanks for explaining.
By using this kind of feature we can make the history of Illy much deaper. Reacting (in role play) on event like "Trolls nests spring up near kingdom heartland" or "kildarran regicide - in their own words" could be really interesting. |

I support this idea for the reason stated. Read Tinuviel's voice and you will see what Capricorne means
Tinuvuiel keeps her comment and observations wtihn the lore of the game which can be gleaned from the faction descriptions and elsewhere. Illyriad has it's own well written history and it adds to the playability of the game. Previously The Herald just gave announcements and statistcal details of the latest seiges and confclicts but since Ui2 it has contained updates and side arcticles which refer to Court machinations, developments within factions and historical events. These side articles may give clues to secret discoveries - who knows? Tinuviel's briilliant understanding of the cultures and histories that exist within the different factions of Illyriad illustrates an example of role play we would all benefit from by following.
Similary can be referered to stories or poems written by players. (Yumeshi's diary is an example of this.

What appears in the Herald usually appears in the Game Announcement section of the forums to. You can comment on the stories (normally slightly reworded) in there.

It could be great if we can comment the news of the herald in role play. Somehow as tinuviel's voice did in "king's 2nd tournament: results & stats"
