In light of the new terrain advances, it would be even more prudent than ever to add an option to center the world map on a tile.  Even before Sovereignty was introduced, players needed to view prospective settlement locations in context of their surroundings.  Now not only is it still important to find squares with good surrounding bonuses, but also the variance is much higher, warranting more thorough search.

And, well, having to move around by either skipping over whole screens, single rows, or entering coordinates are all kind of a PITA when scanning the countryside at such low resolution.  Adding "Center map here" to the context menu for tiles would by simple means alleviate some of this pain.

you could also add an option to automatically set the radius of squares to any desired number.  this would serve the same function as a world map and would be easier to use.
Soon, very soon, my name will become synonymous with chicken alfredo.... mmm.... chicken alfredo....

But that's no trivial matter.  In fact it's hardly even plausible to support any arbitrary scale.
