Caravane destroyed?

You receive a mail ingame if your caravans are destroyed.
They cannot be stolen.

Hi,

i have to report something, im a new player so dont be rude

i sent a caravane to gather some Stone on a field where an other player was already gathering.

I read somewhere that in the case the other caravane is pushed away and come bach home unless this caravane was protected by an army... so i was confident.

i received this message:

Caravans from Carcas, belonging to Mandarins31 are gathering at 74|-299

This 1 caravan has a capacity of 200, and gathers resources at a speed of 200 per hour.



There is 1383 remaining at this location, so your caravans will remain here until 06JUN10 00:49.

then this one at the same time:

Caravans from *****, belonging to ***** were gathering at 74|-299 when caravans from Carcas, sent by Mandarins31, arrived and sent them packing.


*****'s caravans had managed to gather 186 resources from this location before being so rudely interrupted, and are now heading home.





.So seemed to be normal, but whene i connected again an hour later my caravane was nowhere; no travelling nor standing at home and no gathering or battle message.


So is that a bug or something not reported happened to my poor lonely peaceful acaravane?
