I did mean "all the goods in hubs for the account", but I didn't explicitly state it since all categories traders, goods and vans all refer to stuff in hubs! Now I know how the queries work, it is possible to see where everything is, even if the solution isn't immediately obvious.

HubInventory shows more information than what you indicated. It not the goods for the entire account, only those in hubs. Anything in cities are only viewable using the individual TownInventory. As you indicate it shows the number of traders and number of vans in hubs based on the city focus. It also show the total number of traders and vans at hubs for all towns. It appears to be a bug that it does not include hubs only having vans parked there in the all towns totals. What makes me think it's a bug is the pulldown menu gives a list sorted by all the hubs where you have either a trader or goods. There is a field showing the vans, but it is not sorting to include hubs that only have vans. Perhaps it should. Hubs with only a trader show up as do hubs with only goods. That's a far easier fix than having goods in every hub in the game.

The account had 10 traders from one town and no other towns had traders. The missing vans were all from a non trader "van" town. I'm double checking now.
If I look at the hub inventory screen, it shows the "missing" vans in the drop down menu when I have the town "focus" on the van town but not when I have the focus on the trader town. I had thought that that the hub inventory screen showed the total traders, goods and vans for the entire player account - but the hub inventory screen seems to show data as follows:- Traders for the current town Goods for the entire account Vans for the current town Thus, I could only see the "missing" vans when I accessed the hub inventory screen drop down menu with the focus on the "van" town but not on the "trader" town. I can switch the focus back and forth between the two relevant towns and the vans appear and disappear. Obviously, if you have a trader in the hub where the vans are, the vans will appear on the hub order screen but if you have no trader in the hub, no vans will appear because the screen only shows vans which are capable of being given orders - where all hubs are selected, again the screen will show only vans which are in hubs which have traders present. Thus if you have vans in hubs without traders, those vans don't show on the hub order screen. Thus, the only way of working out where the vans are is to use the hub inventory screen with the focus on the town where the vans are. My problem and confusion was that the vans were from one town and the traders are all from another town, and the hub inventory drop down menu doesn't operate on an account basis - its a mixture of account for goods, and town for both traders and vans. Now Baldrick is thoroughly confused and will retire to rest his brain. I now have goods in 221 of the 253 hubs just so that the drop down menu has all the hubs in it. -You must be having a problem because that is not correct. If I access the HubOrders screen set for all hubs from my trader city, I can see all the traders that city has and where they are located and additionally a list of all the vans in every hub that city has traders in regardless of which of my other cities those vans are from. The fact of the matter is, a city with no trader and vans at a hub, cannot even access the HubOrder screen and instead receives a notice stating it has no traders in any hub. It's sounds to me that you have traders from multiple cities and the city with the missing vans were from one of those cities.

Problem seems to have solved itself - the drop down menu appears to work - maybe I'm just going blind.
I am not going blind!!! I just checked the hub inventory screen drop down menu with the focus on the trader town and the vans from the other town don't show up. But if I access the same drop down menu with the focus on the van town then the vans do show up. And I thought the drop down menu was supposed to show ALL the vans no matter their originating town and no matter which town has the focus. I'm going to escalate this issue as it is proving difficult to solve.
I have a traer town with many traders. I have another town which claims to have 5 caravans in a hub on the town trade screen. However, when I look at the hub orders screen for the trader town, the vans don't show up. This is because none of the traders I have at hubs are in the particular hub where the 5 caravans are sitting. In addition, the hub inventory screen for the trader town has a summary just beneath the pop down menu and this summary shows 5 vans from another town are in hubs (but not which one). Furthermore, the pop down menu itself does not show any vans in hubs (even though they are in the summary) - I have goods in every single hub I can deliver to but the pop down menu won't show which hub has the 5 vans in it. I've got around 10 traders and a very large number of hubs to search because unless I put a trader in the (unknown) hub where the 5 vans are, they won't show up on the order screen or on the pop down menu on the inventory screen. I am now faced with visiting every single hub in order to find the 5 missing vans. Help! small edit: shurthorn delivery still outstanding but will be done this evening to see if pop down menu shows 5 vans there.

Rather stupidly, I recalled some traders recently (1 week ago ish) , but I notice that I still have 5 caravans in a hub but can't tell which one. I suspect that it is a hub where I have not stored goods, so it isn't showing up on the pop-up menu of hub inventories. Is there a way of finding out where the 5 vans are?
