Hello,
I have two suggestions I would like to make in regards to selling goods to other players.
1) When accepting a buy order the game calculates the Total Cost by adding the Total Order Value to the Total Tax Amount. Please see the example below:
This amount does not make any sense in regards to the sale as neither the buyer or the seller is sending or receiving this amount of gold. I suggest having the the Total Tax Amount subtracted from the Total Order Value and changing the term Total Cost to something like Net Gold Received. In this example the amount of gold I would have earned would be 2,102,866.
2) When placing sell orders, the Total Cost calculation works just fine. When deciding to amend a price downwards there is a nice disclaimer that informs the seller that he/she will not receive a tax refund for this action. Please see below:
I would like to see this disclaimer or something similar to it before pressing confirm during a sell order. This reminder could influence a seller when trying to decide between accepting a buy offer or creating a sell offer that could potentially be amended or canceled due to competition from other sellers.
I enjoy math and accounting a great deal. My Alliance and the Market in Illyriad is what keeps me coming back everyday (and motivates me to purchase Prestige every now and then

). I would love to see the Market continue to grow and improve.
Thank you.
