Being in the patient group (I did not ever really care for new content anyway), I have to say that catering for every group of your clientele is a much more sound business practice than wishing for your clients to be homogenous in their needs ... Wink

Just like a "before and after" ad ! ahahahaah :p

Game dev (especially indie dev) isn't a one size fits all situation. What works for Kerbal may not be suited for us.

We've got some cool stuff in the works but you've just gotta hang in there. We'll talk when there's something meaningful to say, not just for the sake of it, if you get my drift.

I know most people are being very patient and I appreciate it very much.

I hope this isn't a serious consideration. If I have to depend on Rill for "Accurate" information I'd rather stay ignorant. If I have to read through something amusing according to Rill
I'd rather be Dead

Are we customers?  I question if this was ever a viable business.  The way it's run now, it seems like a lost labor of love that the developers no longer have the time (or desire) to support.  If that is the case, it is understandable but very much under-communicated.

If this game is actually being worked on day in and day out (or even at some time during any given week) it wouldn't be very hard at all to craft a short entry on the progress made.  Here is an example from a company actively developing a game and communicating progress with customers:

See, every week there is an entry and customers can follow along.  If the employees at Illyriad feel that KSP is a bigger company, then do the same thing but make smaller entries.  The idea scales quite nicely.

What's a reasonable frequency for communicating with your customers?
Ordinarily you'd say once a month, probably. . . right?

I did think the map would be released by now? The one showing both Elgea and Broken Lands. It was only a couple of weeks away just after new year if I remember the GC discussion with GM SC ...

The silence is broken!
Why not sooner.
It's not the delay that's frustrating it was feeling of being egged on.
We are a patient bunch. Lol can't play Illy without patients.

Tip!
Perhaps you can Prestige build it to speed it along
