Originally this was something I was keeping within mCrow, as I was worried the GMs would become aware of it if everyone was talking about it and stop me. However having now razed ThunderCat's capital and am now resigning in my Dev killing, I feel it's safe to tell everyone. =)

Several weeks ago I was looking at the Devs alliance and noticed that GM Cerberus and ThunderCat did not have new player protection over their cities. I figured they still had the infamous 1M charge fear rune but I decided to test it. I send a small siege to GM Cerberus' only city, of I think 17pop. I figured Cerberus would be the least likely to sign on or notice the siege. The siege got there, set up, bombarded and razed all without a problem. Interestingly, Cerberus did sign on only a few hours before I razed his only city but he either didn't notice or did nothing about it. The proof (in case anyone is doubting me) has been deleted because I was unaware system messages deleted themselves.

I then decided I'd go for a little larger kill and sent a siege at TC's capital city, which had 4404 pop. The siege took over 9 days to get there and again, nothing was done to stop it. Interestingly, a few days ago I sent 1k thieves to his city Instant Death and they triggered the fear rune and returned home. This made me worry that the siege would be unable to raze his capital and I decided to wait extra long and bombard it to 0 pop just in case. Despite the fear rune being triggered on instant death, I successfully razed his city only a few minutes ago. I'm guessing this is why they added new player protection to their own cities, though I'm unsure why only Luna and Stormcrow have it.

The entire time I was fully expecting a mammoth army to come out of their gates and crush me but as I said, nothing was done. I'm sure if they're just somehow unaware of the siege or if they just didn't care but maybe one of them will shed some light in this thread.

For TC I took to taking screenshot for fear of the mail being automatically deleted. I'm not 100% sure on this but I believe I am the only one to successfully raze a GM city and very likely the only one to raze multiple.

Nicely done, sirrah!  Clap

I know one of my test accounts got sieged and razed, but I can't remember by whom - and the account wasn't in the 'Devs' alliance; so it's not as remarkable as razing both Cerb's and TC's cities.

I think this should be made a national sport :)

Brids, you killed our devs!Cry

Now how are they suppose to implement all new "soon" to come developments, if they are dead?
