Paypal can be set up so that the funds come out of your bank account.
There are also pre-paid 'credit cards' available in a lot of countries, where you just load cash onto the card and then use it as a simple credit card on the internet. The good thing about these is that if your card is used in a fraudulent transaction, you only lose what cash you currently have on your card.

Yes, it worked 3 or 4 times here, and for some transactions elsewhere. I have to disable the PayPal security SMS here, otherwise Illy's web form hangs. Illy's mobile payment never worked for me. Vague idea, if you only created a PayPal account, without ever sending money to it, there is no ordinary banking account "bound" to your account, and all they can do is ask for a credit card. As soon as you have (enough) money in your PayPal account they use that first. Look for an option to send money to your account on the PayPal pages.

i use paypal, i fixed my paypal so that it just accesses my card and takes the money when it needs it.

Did you ever successfully order prestige via PayPal that way? I can't get that option at all, PayPal just wants my credit card number for this transaction. How do I bypass that and go the prepaid route?
