   No offense, but I think you are confused.  This is actually one of the fastest browser games around in terms of getting on your feet.  This is partly from upgrade cost curves that are actually more favorable than other games, but mostly from the variety of additional means of gaining resources (questing, harvesting, etc.).

Taking advantage of those features requires some hands-on involvement, but also gives you something else to do while construction is under way or resources are low.  Even if you don't take advantage of them, however, the only way you could end up with such long waits is by going out of your way to make "optimally-poor" development choices.

It is advisable to check out additional aid resources such as the guide Capricorne posted and resources on the wiki such as the building upgrade charts, before button-mashing your way too far into your account's development.  Luckily, such resources are numerous, as are the people around here and on Global chat who are always ready to offer some pointers or direct you to such resources...not to mention sending welcome packages.

	I doubt it takes 12 days to refill your low leveled storehouse. If you ask on global chat, you will find that a majority of players "more so the players a few months in and more" will happily send you resources.

	perhaps a beginners guide would be most helpful, yes have done the tutorial and have been to the forums, help, heading, but no beginners guide. i have in this short time discovered that this is perhaps the slowest browser game ever invented, so much so, that having used up my meagre resources i will now log out and come back in about 12 days by which time i may have enough resources to raise my resource buildings to level 2 on all of them, then another break for another 12 days to try for level 3. however a beginners guide would have been most helpful and may have explained a few things. thanks from a totally confused makapa ps didnt put this in the "help" section as cannot post there.
