People won't be able to take in more basics than a level 12 storehouse plus level 12 warehouse can hold (I think that's around 100k total). (They also won't be able to take more advanced resources than this, but 100k advanced resources is quite a lot.) I wonder if people will port in with a bunch of thieves rather than a bunch of armies in order to pick their rivals clean. Would be another interesting strategy.
I think this is an interesting challenge. Will be fun to watch what people do with it, although I don't have a city to spare to participate. Maybe I can bamboozle Ryelle into doing it.
Since there's a 5-day "freeze" on armies and diplos after Exodus, it seems like people would need to time their arrivals as close to the designated starting time as possible in order to avoid being sitting ducks.
Lots of intriguing options.

your warehouse and store house will drop to lv12 also, so there is that limitation, also I have asked the devs for some help here with maybe some special rules preventing outside vans from reaching a destination in the desert and there by eliminating the need for blockades, fingers crossed, we will see what can be done. I may just lay down a rule about being dq'd for outside vans arriving. I will keep you posted on this development.

I think it is interesting idea, especialy for medium players that can rebuild lost city fairly fast compared to players with 9 or 10 cities. That alone will enable that all competitors are of relativ same size when they start, it will be unlikely that many 20-25k troop city will be involved in battles so PvP will be interesting

Great concept Zork, hopefully the Devs will help you out with the logistics, a temporary Tenaril's spell would encourage people along!

Great idea Zork and the message has been posted to all Calaquendi Crows. Immediate feedback is that several are not keen to move cities for this contest.
A suggestion therefore is to see if the devs could allow the original square to be re-settled again after the contest, even if the city itself is razed during the contest....

If I could, I would join. Sounds like a lot of fun but I don't think I'm large enough to come anywhere near the win! I'll have great fun watching though :)

I have to disagree buddy. I think a hands off approach from the devs would be commendable, and am sure they would be happiest of all the see their players taking initiative to create some sort of entertainment. A herald article would be kinda cool though detailing who the contestants are and their coords etc.

The dev team will not be able to assist or get involved in this event in any way. I do indeed love to see players taking initiative on player-run events and wish you the best of luck. But changing the game in any way to suit this gets into messy areas of 1) favoritism and 2) possibly breaking the game, so we just can't do it.
