Hello everybody!

Just joined, and this game is really rather immersive I must say. A couple of questions to help me in planning ahead:

1. What exactly counts as an "arctic biome" (for arctic warfare etc)? Is it just those squares with [____ - Arctic] in their description, or are those with a white background also included? For example, does 987|692 in Tamarin count as arctic or normal?

2. For those Elf players who are much further on than I am (which is practically everybody :p) what are the main "chokepoints"/shortages experienced if I plan on recruiting many spearmen and archers?

3. Those Misty Lands in Kal Tirikan (e.g. -634|757) - what do they do? or what can I do with them?

Correct on the Arctic College.  The square you mentioned in Tamarin is not "- Arctic" and you would not get the bonus from the college.

My only "chokepoint has been s shortage of clay in my first city because elves start with only 3.  This limits Sov's and T2 buildings down the road.

They are part of a quest.  I am sure someone can find and post the link below - or it can be searched for....

The Misted Lands are a mystery.  To my knowledge, it has not been solved.

well I sent a caravan over just for fun, but the 2d plus travel time makes me think it wasn't such a good idea :p

(why a caravan? Cos I only have caravans to send at this point :s)
