Where were Skorn's allies during this dilemma, and why did Skorn and Moondragon submit so easily? Communication people; it works wonders.

The player started in 2010 and is a member of WE; one of about twelve alliances in Consone

The completely unrelated alliance was founded in 2011; one of about five alliances in the Nightbringers Confederation.

Well, as stated, I'm a diplomacy guy so an attack is the last thing I want to do. Mediation is on his way so I really do not know why this topic has poped up.

First and certainly last comment on this topic.

Respecfully,
Capricorne.

@Luna, my bad!

Shall rephrase and just say that Aravel should have respected moondragon's sovereignty & not harvest a tile that's just 1 square away from his city. And 5k units to occupy a square is abit excessive.

I am dealing with this via IGM.

Player and alliance in question would like more flesh... not going to happen.
Skorn is a peaceful god fearing guy.

He admits he is not perfect. I have stopped him sending IGMs for now.. so that I can defuse without complications.

Part of his frustration may be the tight leash I have placed him on!

I can hear the frustration here, but if he was moving anyway then what was the point of attacking?  Sometimes it is better to just walk away.  Yes, everyone has the right to defend themselves.  It sounds like this player did his best (sending all that he had) against someone he felt had wronged him.  Still, it seems like this argument is over since the one player got to keep the square he planted 5k troops on....  Other than that, I am not sure if this is material for the politics and diplomacy page unless you are preparing to declare war or are seeking some recompense for damages.
