Has that event (summer break) not occurred yet where you are?  Here college has been out for almost two months, and earlier grades have been out for 2-3 weeks.  So if break time is prime time, then time's a-wastin'...

I wonder if the temporary break in silence actually heralds something, I personally would expect the release to coincide with the academic summer holidays as its a good time to recruit for online games.

could the factions go live early before the introduction to tbl so we can see how they actually work and can adjust our plans for tbl based on experiences with factions in elgea?

It has been almost 6 months since it was put out that there is going to be this update. Can GM Stormcrow, GM thundercat or gm luna give us an update on how things are progressing. I am not asking for timing but just an update on how things are going with it.

Most of the alliances who are on top currently got there by being disciplined, well organized and learning how to squeeze every advantage out of the game.  I don't expect them to suddenly get stupid and sloppy just because they have a new set of towns to administer.  BL is a soft reset in that it will give alliances who made early mistakes a chance to show if they are ready to step up their game or not.  Anyone who wants to be the new king of the hill in BL will have to learn to play smarter as well as harder, and possibly be ready to make a few sacrifices.

actually it can get a bit tricky for the current masters here...new ambitious players may target them or their old foes can return.
