It used to be possible to use FB points on an account you were sitter on and your own account. This is no longer possible, but was a very nice feature. Now you can only buy prestige with them. I do miss that option as it is no longer possible for me to help a mate out when they are not watching and their wait time is days long.

For a short while I played a different game much smaller in scale than Illyriad. They had an option where you could purchase their in-game currency with GameStop "Power up Reward points."
@Devs would this be possible for prestige?

Mostly yes... though I must admit entertaining AC conversations might have been had while surrendered to a state of mild inebriation after coming home on a friday night.

*grins* Looks like you've quantified their sleaziness :o) What were the variables?

You can do offers on Facebook itself for credits. On the Facebook buy page, click on "More payment Options" and choose "Earn Credits.

I do not feel like degrading a system (surveys) that already has so many bad reviews. Look at different mmo game companies and you will see they have had problems with online surveys. IGG, Nexon, ect. Even people scamming other people by setting up their own surveys and saying they can give the cash to players.
It is all just a black box that only creates more problems in the end. One main problem I would have with it, is the increase petitions that will occur. People saying "I did not get my cash", "This site charged my cell phone bill", "Why have I not got my points yet", "It put a keylogger on my computer". I mean the list can just keep going on. If there is a way for something to go wrong, it will.
I see it best that scams like this are not brought out. And most are scams.
You should just be happy with the 1 free point you get per day. I saved up 100 and spent them all, got me a nice boost and a chance to recover my resources afterwards. (Really only saved up 50, got another 50 for free since illy staff gave it out).
Let the staff work on the game and not on problems that do not need to be there.

I hate to break it to you, but "your proposal" became Illyriad's
property as soon as you registered on these forums accepting their terms
of service and posted it here, thus freely donating it to Illyriad. Luckily, Illyriad's staff aren't half as sleazy as you imply they are, nor 1/4 as sleazy as you suggest they should be. Are you here to play the game, or as representative to a coalition of spammers?
