	"You can actually email the entire alliance currently (if you have the suitable permissions to do so in your role) - simply type in the word "Alliance" as the recipient. The lookup will say "No player found", but ignore that, then press send as normal, and it should go to the whole alliance." http://forum.illyriad.co.uk/alliance-mail_topic167.html

	Yes, apologies that it's not particularly obvious... it is on our to-do list, promise! Yes Tubana, you should be able to do it. So long as you haven't removed the "Mail Alliance" permission from your Founding role.
