+1 for delayed launch option.
I sometimes miss army launch by few minutes even if I'm online, because I'm doing other things like reading this forum.

I am in favor of a feature that would help with the launch time since I often have RL interruptions, not to mention sleep. This does not necessarily makes it any easier if implemented as a delay mechanism, but will make the game more enjoyable for those that do understand and desire the timely arrival of troops.
Given this is an optional-to-use feature (possibly a research item under Miltia->Stratagem) I see this may only be a disadvantage to those that play all the time. While I keep hearing the 'dev interviews' mentioning the desire for more "friction" so why not make it more enjoyable? ;)

I agree with being able to add a configurable launch delay (say upto 12 hours) but being able to simply type in an arrival time is way too easy and destroys the chance for Alliances to differentiate themselves from others due to the their coordination and organization.

I think this is a great idea and during the tourney really missed a function like this.
I also played Evony and it is one of the few things I miss from there.

Im pretty sure delayed unit movements is in dev list, though, it would need the official confirmation from a GM.

strange as it seems since JimJams sent me into a rage on my topic, i agree fully with him here, and the others are once again not thinking, they are saying DONT GIVE US OPTIONS, WE HATE FREEDOM OF CHOICE!!!
Why limit freedom? i dont understand this at all... if you wanna wake up in the middle of night to send them yourself do so, if you dont then dont and use this instead, and if things gets messed up and new orders came in telling you not to attack well tough s**t you made that choice and that that.

May be, but, please, why we need so much mess and effort just to time an army walk ? .... is not complexity making games fun, is deepness |

I would have hoped more people took Rills' stance, what is the advantage of being an addict if stuff like this is implemented? |
Look like there is no consensus on my proposal.
OK, let it be another farmville. I will leave this thread alone.

Should be no advantage to be pathologically obsessive... any pathology require some doctor help.
