It was probably a bug in the taxation calculation that was fixed by building the Chancery and triggering a re-calculation.  I've seen these discrepancies before when setting the tax rate, so there's a bug somewhere regarding taxation, probably completely unrelated to the Chancery.

Something weird happened to me regarding sov and the Chancery of Estates, and I haven't seen it mentioned here before.

After moving one of my cities using Exodus, I've started claiming sov I around it, and built the chancery as soon as the research finished.

Here's the weird part, my gold was at around -2900 / h, but as soon as level 1 chancery finished building, it changed to around -350 gold / h (I was watching it as it happened). Any further upgrades to the chancery change the gold income by only a small amount, as would be expected.

Was wondering if this is some sort of bug, or is it just me?
