I'm kind of a small fry in the whole scheme of things pertaining to Illyriad. I only have three cities and I sit my alternate account. But even still, I find it EXTREMELY annoying to have to go to each city to see what's being built, what's being researched, the things that are being produced, so on and so forth. The thing is... It will only get worse for me. I have around 6 more cities to build for my main account and 8 more for the alternate account... Things are going to get so much more hectic.
But I think that if the Devs could dream up or think of some sort of Activity Monitor that puts all the different events and happenings from every account you manage and all your cities into one place in real time (count downs and all), it would be really helpful for not just me but for any player who aspires to grow big in Illy and plans to stay for awhile. I'm not sure the logistics for this, whether it would be one of the <div> s on the side of the screen or a whole separate page itself but I think that this is something that everyone could benefit from... Comment your thoughts. |

Extremely annoying, or just a little annoying?
If you use the Chrome Browser you can add the illytools extension which will do all of what you want and a lot more. My thanks to the writers of illytools.

illytools works on firefox too btw.
Also there is the little 'forward arrow button' to move to the next town quickly while keeping open a tab such as resources. This lets you scan through everything very quickly. I think the devs have thought a lot about these issues and done pretty well with them, though sometimes you need to first discover what is hidden in all the millions of menus and buttons. |
