Hey Everyone!
Today we've made Hope Ridge into the official trade hub of the Broken Lands. What this means is that you'll now have trade visibility in your capital city for Hope Ridge in Oarnamly. We're excited to see what impact this will have on trade throughout Elgea. Enjoy! Edited by GM Stormcrow - 01 Apr 2021 at 11:50 |

I think it may be a bit early to assess the impact of this much requested change - after less than 18 hours on live - although I entirely accept that this change may not and may never affect you in any way whatsoever. With respect, not everything we put live is designed through the prism of "What will this change mean for Malek?" Regards, SC Edited by GM Stormcrow - 01 Apr 2021 at 11:56 |

Just wait till tomorrow. If it's still there then it isn't. But I'm 100% certain it isn't. It would be a lot of work for a joke.

This is no small thing for the BL. It marks a potential sea change in trading. For so long, BL players have had to make the long trek to Centrum to get critical resources. Now, with an equally visable hub in the center of BL, players will have increased access to a wide range of resources in one central place.
It's also worth noting that the Illyria Trade Council has a slightly negative view of the Council of Illyria (-10). The ITC is scrappy and looking to potentially usurp Kind Sigurd's iron grip on trade throughout Illyria. Sigurd and his CoI do not have a reciprocal negative ranking for the ITC, but it will be interesting to see if this rivalry heats up as ITC begins to take market share away from Sigurd.

About damn time!
This gives the opportunity for unique Broken Lands and Elgean resources to be developed and potential competition between continents for those resources, just as an example. Let the trade wars begin!

Well I have already found it useful, finding a much needed commodity I would have otherwise been unaware off plus it’s good for everyone in BL and game balance.
