Scheduled Downtime Completed

Hi all,

We'll be applying various operating system and software patches to the UK1 server tomorrow 16FEB11 at 0800 Server Time.

This will mean that uk1.illyriad.co.uk and ui2.illyriad.co.uk will both be unavailable at this time.

We expect the patching process to take less than an hour, but will return the server to service as soon as we're fnished patching and have tested everything's OK.  If it looks like taking more than one hour, we'll let you know in forums - which will remain up for the duration of the downtime.

Hopefully, nothing that you'd notice!

Basically, these were third-party patches to the server's Operating System, Database and Web Services that are necessary and/or recommended by the manufacturer to keep the server running more smoothly, securely and happily.
