In fact, Hugs got rather close to winning the square, without really getting all that much outside help. And TCol might've won Mal Motsha if their allies hadn't been embroiled in a war for most of the tourney. As this was the first tourney where smaller alliances had any chance at all, I think in the future, as they learn to coordinate better, they (smaller alliances in general) may be able to match the larger alliances. |
Indeed, given the coordination displayed at the end of the tournament, particularly with the new combat calculations, I think HUGcr or another small alliance that used smart strategy would have a good chance.
