its amazing watching the team play occurring in your conflict. its a shame for the game that the combinations of variables are not explored more in this a war game. the devs have put so much effort in creating these functions and sadly the players were buffalo into not playing this game area and we became mainly non combative...hopefully broken lands changes this and players realize the fun they are neglecting.

Congratulations to Evae, a player with under 2k pop who thought she was too small to contribute has taken down the walls of a city and neutralized an enemy. Watch out Illy, don't mess with her!

Gratz Evae :) See it is not the size of the hooman in the fight, it is the size of the fight in the hooman! The TCOL Elven Brigade gives you a three elf ear salute for your victory! (note: the ears may be a little chewed upon due to our Orc Brethern)

We all need more barrels of beer to train troops to attack and defend vs. our well-trained Night Squires! Here are our leaders plotting to get more: Bonfyr Verboo & Abraxox w/ wonka looking on...

I thought the recent eCrow-DB mock war had fairly realistic rules as well. They were based on the Illyriad Olympics site, with the addition of assassins and direct attacks. I thought that 72 hours of bombardment was a bit too long for a raze, but most of the scoring was from live sieges, not the raze itself.
I do really like the walls concept, in that it seems like far less book keeping than the I-O approach. Do you guys cap the number of battering rams? It seems like a siege could go extremely fast with 30+ rams, especially compared to the I-O rule of 12+72 hours.
