There are several enhancements to the in-game UI that are currently part of DurcTools. These will over a period of time be moving over to what is (as far as I'm aware) the first purpose written browser extension for Illyriad. This is dedicated to the memory of ChrisG/Devastruktor.

At present the extension is available for Firefox and Chrome (did you know Chrome charge you to publish an extension...). With other browsers possibly in the future.

A search in either the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Addons for Illyriad will show the extension but for those too lazy to find it themselves:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/chrisgui/" rel="nofollow - Firefox
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/chrisgui/aojcpcaadciponalbknhjcegeoabahae?hl=en-GB&gl=GB" rel="nofollow - Chrome

What it does
At the moment it only does one thing - allows you to use emojis in chats. Out of the 3k possible emojis I've added 45. Clicking the carp icon (Chris loved his fishing) in the toolbar will show a popup with the supported emojis in it. There are two ways to add an emoji to a chat post:
  1. Type the code. ie :eyes: will show the 👀 emoji. Anyone without the extension will see the code. This method is available for Alliance and Global chats but not Private chats.
  2. Click the image in the popup. This will place the relevant image in the last chat you clicked in. The emoji is visible to everyone regardless of if they have the extension installed or not. It is available for Alliance, Global and Private chats.

Next Step

The next addition will be the colour coding/timing for sending harvesters. While this was a fairly easy tool to create as a userscript it is a fair bit more complex as an extension due to the sandboxing that is done with extensions.
