While perhaps not used ubquitously throughout the game, .xml data in combat reports have revolutionized the game for many military and tournament alliances alike. The ability to keep track of casualties and measure the value (or lack thereof) of operations has enhanced the game experience for many of the players in my alliance. I suggest that the game developers consider extending this feature to diplomatic reports.
