Trade Scores are being scaled down by / 250. This is because the top scores are too large for the Steam leaderboards and stats to hold with precision (as an interger number rather than a floating point number) and we will be keeping the Steam scores and the Illyriad scores in sync.

You the trade score will still be stored the same internally, so you won't loose any progression for smaller trades; however it will mean you need to accumulate 250 points of the old score to move up a point in the visible score.

*edit*

No points will be "lost" as such; and the trade score will count the same to the overall score as now. So this change will not effect the overall rankings; just the display in trade score.

As an aside: There are currently about 115+ Trade Achievements for Steam and 10 are based on the score

How does this affect legitimate traders (like myself) vs those who artificially inflate their trade scores?

Thanks Koda.

Hey, want to swap some gold? If we swap 120+ Billion gold between us we might have a chance at getting in the top 10.

And obviously not a great enough deterrent for some players... Especially when you have 10's of billions in gold just laying around...
