In the course of events in which time progresses, all alliances shall have a time in which it is easier to decide to not act against those things that cause small irritations or small discomforts. In those times, it could be viewed that actions are not warranted because the cause of such discomforts is too small or too minor to be worth the bother of removing.
However, all alliances also must weigh these considerations against the fact that, unchecked, these discomforts and irritations become larger, more ingrained, and more difficult to remove. Should in time those grow to become not irritations and discomforts, but enemies that cause much destruction and ills that would have easily been avoided if action had been taken upon first notice of the problem.
Therefore, weighing these against each other, Aldkeep knows that inaction cannot be contemplated as a serious course of action. Therefore, due to the actions of the alliance Black Mesa, known as HECU against allies, unaffiliated neutrals, and alliances neutral to Aldkeep for no reason other than to cause a broadening scope of war and misery:

There shall hence forth be a state of War between Aldkeep and the Black Mesa.

This decision, not reached lightly, comes after repeated attempts, from various factions and groups within the Illyriad community, have attempted to more gently correct the actions of the leadership and members of the aforementioned alliance. Aldkeep, having seen to what little affect these negotiations have had in removing the Evony like cancer, keeps its War unaffiliated with the negotiations and conflicts of other groups and alliances. As such, Aldkeep does not bind itself those negotiations, though good faith from Black Mesa in those instances and negotiations may be cause, as Aldkeep sees fit, to open negotiations with Black Mesa for a cessation of hostilities.

I have decided to throw King UFO a life line and invite him to join FATE on a trial base. He will eventually move down to the Orken Coast - so he wont be a concern for the delicate Elgean folk.

As long as King UFO plays nice whilst a FATE member then we will look out for him and will not to kindly to any act of aggression against him.

I'm not sure what went on but reading the comments in GC earlier today was enough for me to decide that it all seemed a little unbalanced.

The Aldkeep alliance will be going tow war with the  black mesa alliance for reasons that can best be described as a long winded 'blah'

Given that Black Mesa has 0 members, 0 towns and 0 pop I believe this to be a very unfair war.  Wonder if anyone will come to the aid of Black Mesa.

Bearing in mind that a state of war exists, let it be known that attacks have already been launched and cannot be recalled. As these are legitimate attacks against legitimate targets, having Casus Belli against those players in possession of the targetted places, any troops lost to FATE troops shall be requested and required to be paid for in recompense for the actions for which they unjustly protect those who wage unjust war against the community at large.

I've dropped this at the request of a good friend (who feeds me marshmallows Wink ).

As an aside - the comment about seeking repayment for lost troops is laughable. How would you even try to enforce that with your current numbers....

Realistically, how much damage can these guys really do to each other? Perhaps it would be better to let them scuffle rather than escalate the situation with sizable combatants.

Actually according to Aldkeep's diplo page a state of war does not exist.  And who knows where your attacks went given that your enemy doesn't exist either.  Or that FATE could be a number of different things.

What is the point in making a War declaration/justification without ever worrying about giving out any useful information?
