This thread is reserved for Strategy Stream, a livestream event we try to host every 2nd Monday of each month. In it, we will discuss tips, tricks and strategies with a panel of players and developers. If you would like to suggest a topic or would like to join in on the show, send me (GM Rikoo) an IGM. If you want to come on the show, you must have Skype, a decent mic and a knowledge of the subject. It's easy, and you'll be contributing to the library of knowledge on the game! What strategy did you want to talk about as this particular topic to me is a little open ended. There are many strategies including military strategies, trade strategies, diplo strategies. City/Alliance placements strategy, City Building Strategy, tips and tricks on rapid pres building, game mechanics and many more. I think making it a little more specific would get a more desirable result and enabling a more indepth discussion, this may also take up a few of these chats. What is the most popular part of the game that people want to know about? Anyone in particular that the players would like to hear from in these little shin digs? |

Oh yes.. Having the DEV's say that there are, per example, 2 discoveries, or 3, or 4.. that are yet to discover, would be awesome.. hunting something that we don't even know if exists yet is pretty much disappointing.. |

The next livestream will cover sieging, sieges and all-around siegery and will feature several players. It will be on: Monday, December 1st at 7:00 pm Central time, USA or 01:00 GMT. Last time we did it in the early part of the day in the US and many players missed it, so this time we shall switch it to the evening. I asked for this some time ago and it wasn't picked up by the devs. It is absolute nonsense that we don't know what we don't know! The number of unknown unknowns in each category would be most welcome.

I will be livestreaming the game on May 14th around 1600 EST (20:00 GMT/Server time) in the hopes to have a discussion about WAR. I will need 4 volunteers who know how to use Skype, have a great connection, can play the game (you cannot be banned, etc) and are able to express themselves without screaming and ranting (OK, so maybe some ranting) and who are willing to be recorded live on our Twitch channel. http://www.twitch.tv/luna_illyriad" rel="nofollow - http://www.twitch.tv/luna_illyriad I will not accept recommendations for players. We have tried that. I wind up asking a dozen people who are too shy to talk on the mic. If someone wants to come on, they need to contact me in game. If you really want to recommend someone, tell them to contact me in game. I will send those volunteers a series of questions before the show. We will try to answer them live, but if we veer off into an interesting area, fine. The discussion will be about fighting wars in Illyriad. If the individual players who come on mention strategies, fine, but the main topic will be about warring in general... not strategy so much.
