Tournament Square Clarity

Region Combats
The combats in the region on tournament squares has been filtered to only show combats on a square when they were active; rather than any combats on the four squares for that region. As per all other tournaments, the combats show attacks and reinforcements, but not events where there is nothing on the square already (completely unopposed or supported). 

Portal Activations
The times the portals have been opened are now shown and whether a player has received the reward, who they were and what level the reward was.

Reward Eligability
As a town can only receive an award once, we have added a column "Already Awarded" in the "Your Alliance's Armies On Square" section which says yes/no. Only armies where their town has not already been rewarded (no) can receive the award.

Faster Reward
As some of the squares are hotly contested we have sped up the reward check tick from 5 minutes to several times a minute. However the squares will still only provide a reward once per day.

Graph Dates
Graphs dates are the calander dates of the tournament and have now been updated to reflect the correct dates.

Portal Opened
The Region Combats now shows Portal Opened with the Alliance name that claimed the champion if there was one.

Faster Reward
As some of the squares are hotly contested we have sped up the reward check tick from 5 minutes to several times a minute. However the squares will still only provide a reward once per day.

Can you explain this check better?  The portals are not set by a random determination at the beginning of each day?  I.E. one roll and then opened up based on the RNG of that roll 00:00:01-23:59:59 of that day(hh:mm:ss)?

The portals openings are all set up for exact times (which are pre-generated randomly)

What it was doing previously was to check every five minutes if a portal was ready and reward then. (e.g. reward at the next five minute interval after the open time). This meant all rewards would be given at :00, :05, :10, :15 etc past the hour. As no one knows when the reward is due, this doesn't cause a disadvantage per se.

However on some squares, 5 minutes can be a lot of combats, so it now rewards continuously. This is mainly to ensure the 5 minute intervals are no longer the "lucky" times (though there were still 288 of those in a day)

This change is important now all the previous reward times are displayed on the page (for people looking for patterns)

Because Illyrians really WOULD send armies to arrive exactly at the 5 minute marker every hour (288 times a day).  

We're not obsessive.  Not in the least.  Perfectly sane, I tell you!
