I'm assuming the Combat Report sort (ticket 11619) is in the mail folder. If so the date sort certainly works for me so they may have just fixed it without telling you...

On the Email expiry date - would you be interested in a tool to let you store messages outside the game (ie on your device)? It is one of the ideas I've got slowly bubbling away...
