As most people know, a town may post a buy order for delivery direct to the town.

What many people DON'T realise is that these orders can only be fulfilled in FULL.

The maximum town buy order is therefore 70 caravans x 3,000 = 210,000.

Yet the system allows people to ask for any amount greater than 210,000.

Result? = The order cannot be fulfilled - ever!

Can we not have a simple logic check when a town buy order is created to stop people asking for things that can never be fulfilled.

While I am in moaning, there is an extremply creative buy order by public relations for -45 crafted horses (I forget which ones). Much as I admire the creative skill that went into making this buy order, it is still uncorrected after several? years...

It's not a big ask and would improve trading mechanics.

Also, if a player abandons, then all their SO's, BO's and stock should disappear from hubs immediately.

The stock disappears with the player. As for buy and sell orders they would disappear as soon as anyone accepts them.

I know how it works! but seriously there is no point to allowing abandoned SO and BO orders.

Yea but think about it your asking them to do work on the game. For something that sorts itself out within a a couple of days? Hardly worth their effort.

Not sure I'd agree with this because for a the sake of a small code change, it would stop things getting out of hand in the first place. Running a game on no maintenance, whilst trousering prestige purchases isn't really on is it?

Nothing gets out of hand in the first place. There are barely a handful of trade orders by abandoned accounts as it is. If you want to the trade orders off the market so bad just go fill them and then boom there gone forever. Stop crying to the devs to fix a problem that you could fix in 30 seconds at the expense of a few million gold.
