| If the population, needed for a new city,is calculated by all of your cities together then theoretically(if you have the right population) the max number of cities is unlimited? |

| thats correct (at the minute) however given that for each new town the requirement goes up in numbers of population, so thinking that 75000 is ok think then when you have to build to 135K and look at your biggest city then think you need them all to be that size and you will quickly work out that to have 20 cities would take years of work |

There is a maximum population for each city too, when each building is at it's maximum level. There is probably a time when the needed amount is higher than possible to obtain; -------------
