Further to war sadly having to be declared between DUNE and snafu, due to Mongo having a DUNE member attacked by 2 players from outside his alliance, as well as using his alt Rygar, I confirm he was sent the following on 4/4/2016

Mongo/formerly Kratos.

It is possible that you do not know why Muad’Dib and Curmudgeon have decided that it is best you leave Pawanallpa and are enforcing that decision.

Whilst there can be no dispute that you were a fine member of Deathmongers and helped every member you could with resources at every possible opportunity, some of your decisions were detrimental to that alliance and specifically the junior members of it.

  1. In the absence for reasons beyond their control of 2 of 4 council members you took it upon yourself to lead the alliance into an unwinnable war.

  2. On the return of those 2 members and the subsequent agreement to join Yarr! for the benefit of the newer members in particular, yours was the dissenting and reluctant voice, but in your new profile (attached) you took all credit.

  3. It was a specific declaration by the former Death council members that they did not expect a leadership role in Yarr! and that anything of the sort would not be part of negotiations.Whether this was abided by is debateable.

  4. It was not agreed between Death council or with Yarr! that the Pawanallpa land claim be passed to Yarr! or held by any Death Council member. Your decision to use Illyriad forums and The Illyriad Times to publicise something not agreed on is not acceptable.

  5. Your behaviour in being so unwelcoming to a new Yarr! Member and subsequently unpleasant to a former Death member who attempted to mediate with good intentions is embarrassing to those who have worked so hard on the integration of the 2 alliances.

  6. Your decision to leave Yarr! without explanation and actively recruit Yarr! members while abandoning former protogees from within the new Yarr! Family and abandoning the land claim you formerly claimed precious is hypocritical and insulting to the friends you previously shared council with.

As a result

  1. Your troops in Pawa are forfeit.

  2. 2 (minimum) of your Pawa towns are forfeit and will be razed

  3. You should remove all remaining unsieged Pawanallpa towns with all possible speed.

  4. Failure to comply with the above will result in forfeiture of all Pawanallpa towns.

NB At this time this is a personal issue between individual players. Anyone who has left Yarr! Without knowing the full facts can of course contact Yarr! Leadership without prejudice.

This document is expressly on behalf of and representing the opinions of Muad’Dib and Curmudgeon. No connection with the opinions of Yarr! Leadership is intended or implied.

Appendix 1

The prolific pirate Orc Mongo, knowing the law was on his trail, traveled up the Orcan coast looking for the perfect spot to bury his stolen booty. And then he found a grove of gnarled, wind-swept pines on the Pirate Isles. One moonless dark night, the majestic Walrus slid silently into harbor at Pirate Bay. Before the wondering eyes of two hidden watchers, a crew of scurvy buccaneers armed with cutlasses had rowed boatload after boatload of heavy chests onto the shore. They were accompanied by a tall, proud Orc with red whiskers and a cocked hat that the watchers recognized at once as the bold leader Mongo. He led his men away from shore, and they disappeared into the grove of pines. The pirates were gone a long time; long enough, according to those who watched, to bury any amount of treasure. They came away before dawn and rowed back to the Walrus and sailed into the last vestiges of the dark night.

After a long exhausting chase, the Walrus was blown off course by a monster storm, and the remains of the Walrus and crew washed up on the sandy beaches of Pawanallpa. After a quick recovery, Mongo vowed to rid the region of its tyrannical regimes, and someday return to Pirate Isles for his buried treasure. He took the alias Kratos, and began his crusade of carnage as leader of the newly formed Deathmongers.

Meanwhile, the eager watchers who spied Mongo's crew that night, kept their knowledge quiet and scurried down to the pine grove a few days later, armed with lanterns and shovels. But nary a gold coin found they, and in frustration, they shared their tale with other good folks in the region. After that, there was not a night when the pine grove did not see someone digging fervently with a shovel. After a few decades of this, the pine grove gave up the ghost and died away completely. By my granny's time, there was nothing left of the spot save a few stunted trees, and some wind-swept grass.

The Deathmongers quickly racked up many victories in their conquest of Pawanallpa, but at great cost. Eventually, that cost became too great for the war weary alliance. Realizing he was outnumbered and with little hope for survival, Kratos decided to disband the fearsome gang of cutthroats and warriors, and retire the Deathmonger alliance and its cause into Legend. Kratos figured his best chance for overthrowing the oppressors in the region and recovering his buried booty was to join the newly organized Pirate Republic. So he cast off his alias and resumed his former name, Mongo, and convinced many of his Death mates to join Yarr! and recover that which was buried so long ago, come Hell or high water!

And so it is, to this day Mongo and his crew continue their resistance against tyranny and oppression in Pawanallpa. And continue the good fight and dream of the day when Pawa, and all of Illy is once again free and they are reunited with their long lost booty!

Because when that glorious day finally comes, Mongo and his crew will carry heavy trunks full of treasure onto the shore and scatter them all around the place where the pine grove once stood. Then the pirate crew will haul out kegs and kegs of rum and one of the crew takes out a fiddle. A phantom fire is lit on the sand, and they start such a rowdy singing and dancing that the noise would wake the dead. Some of the crew open the big trunks and take out jewels and ropes of pearls and adorn themselves. At the darkest part of the night, just before dawn, Mongo and his wayward pirate crew will revel in all they have overcome and in one voice yell to the sea, and the sky, "Carpe Diem! YARR!!"

Sadly, this player refuses to engage in dialogue and continues to lie to anyone who will listen and attempt to poach or poison Yarr! players, despite the best attempts of former Death leadership to keep it as a personal issue with no escalation.

At this time, no further action will be taken against the two other players who decided to involve themselves but no future guarantees are given and no clemency towards those getting involved in future should be expected.

Mongo and his alt Rygar (whose troops were also used against us) should now understand that the former terms offered are no longer available. Instead of 2 towns being forfeit and a continued presence in Pawa being unacceptable, the revised terms are that all towns in Broken Lands move to Elgea or to an area defended by any alliance foolish enough to want his presence and be willing to defend him.
