In the light of recent events I thought of posting this.

Thanks Tordenkaffen, really good song. I love the live version from Berlin last year.

Sting and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Berlin 2010 - Fragile

Anyway - bellow is my contribution to this thread. It is soo hard to only pick a few, but except for the last song I was in a "soft" mode this morning. This is a snapshot of my soul this Thursday morning:

Radiohead - Street Spirit: Not much to say about this one, dark and beautiful song and a just as beautiful video.

Radiohead - House of Card: ... on the theme of Radiohead and beautiful then this song and video from the 'In Rainbow' album is a must

Dave Matthews - Say Goodbye: Master piece and master performance (my apologies for you who are impatient, the drum intro is almost 4 min, but if you just kick back and relax it builds up. Don't be surprised if you suddenly find yourself playing the drums on your lap, table, pots or whatever is available)

Pear Jam - Yellow Ledbetter: How do you choose one song from Pearl Jam... and pick only one band from Seattle?? Given the mode I'm in atm, this was the choice. Grrrreat guitar riff!

Sting and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Berlin 2010 - Desert Rose: Another great song from the same concert as Fragile above - I love how the music is running/galloping and slowly flowing/bellowing at the same time, really taps in to the mixed feeling of passion imo. Really sorry about Stings occasional dancing attempts though Tongue

ok, I guess I have to stop now...

EDIT: oo I forgot, tallica, the cow bell sketch is one of my SNL favorites, hilarious!

Wonderful music mr. A - Street spirit is an unforgettable classic! Love pearl Jam too - they were the soundtrack of my 20'ties - Im especially fond of "Indifference", and yeah - Sting is Sting - nothing like him.

Cheers!
