Any chance we can again be collecting bodypart in the futur, even if just for role play? The king stole my fur collection.
Make it appear on the profil page, so we can brag about it...

Watch this space, bartimeus. We didn't code the whole NPC drops/anatomies etc simply for the tournament ;) SC

I'm not sure what bart was asking for, but I like the idea of a "badge of honor" for everyone who has participated in The King's Tournaments... something permanent on the profile page. Or a link on profile pages that shows what tournaments a player has been involved in... kinda like a 'reward for participation' for the folks that didn't have the good fortune/time etc. to win material prizes.

For that matter, in-game record of tournament placement in player history would be nice for winners and participators alike. It would give long-term player accounts more personality and individual context.
Date a: joined alliance x Date b: left joined x joined alliance x2 Date c: placed 3rd in King's First Tournament Date d: placed 12th in King's Second Tournament - individual largest unique collection placed 1st in King's Second Tournament - alliance largest unique collection
...and so on.

I'd like to thank the devs for making this a tourney in which nearly everyone could participate -- even the smaller players. It was great fun collecting the parts and watching our alliance and individual totals add up. And it gave us a reason to use our little armies and get some commander XP. Thank you!!!

Congratulations to all winners! Your perseverance was incredible. This tourney was a great idea, keep up the good work devs!
On a side note, King Sigurd ordering the mass slaughter of 12,972,554 non-aggressive animals (just to collect specimens for a new Museum?) has done nothing to improve his public image. Too much innocent blood has been spilled, too many hunters have not returned home, for too vague a reason.
Some whisper, behind closed doors, that the King and the Council have started to feel more and more uncomfortable with the growing military power of numerous Alliances. To quote from Karlygon, Grantsman of Charters speaking on behalf of the Council: "It is clear to all of us with eyes to see that the continued banding together of Lords, operating outside the wise rules and established covenants of His Majesty King Sigurd, is a threat ." So, what better way to lessen the strength of their armies than a great, blood-splattering, hunt? After all it is known that hunting accidents happen all the time anyway...right?
Undying Flame's word rings more convincing, to many more, after the last tourney: "The Truth is plainly visible even to a simpleton: King Sigurd is naught
but a weak, craven and venal heir to murder, who dances as a puppet on
the strings of a 'Council' that speaks for none but themselves.
Who is it who feeds your family, and who is it who dies abroad in pointless campaigns for the 'glory' of an invisible monarch?
It is you: the goodly, hard-working peoples of the land."

The above post made by Tinuviel is truly wonderful and has kept within the spirit of the game.
Congratulations specifically to the Order of the Valar who managed to put in a commtted and gritty perfomance. They were well led. well organised and highly motivated. Boromir and darkone have already been mentioned. These are the quiet people who (unlike me ) don't court the limelight of Chat or the forums. You can also add duQ. tigre, darkstirder , kudruk and others. They don't seek kudos or notoriety. They just team up and do the business.
I am humbled.

Exactly my point! King Sigurd is evil! We must band together and overthrow him!
People of Illy..... Think of your armies. Their families. Grieving because this... this KING has decided he wants a bit of scientific knowledge?! Or does he have an ulterior motive.
I refuse to acknowledge this man as king. Sigurd is a liar, a thief, and a murderer on the scale of a thousand fold. Do you want to lose thousands upon thousands of soldiers, just because this man wants some nice things to display?! nOr does he fear the power of allinces.
We CAN overthrow him. And we will.
