"Armies with Elementals return unharmed"?

That was stated by SC in the interview. You guys think the elementals is a part of the mystery?

It would not be nice that you have to have "won" tournament to be able to solve this.

SC told too that Elementals will be avalable to everyone... soon... If I recall well.

Did you not know that already Faldrin? It says that the Forces of Nature manage to stop the Melders attacking, and you don't get bothered.

Mhm I thought it was common knowledge.

I believed this mechanic was introduced just so that players would not lose rare elemental units due to HoC testing related mishaps and it was not anything to do with solving the mystery - because otherwise only a small number of players would be able to solve it.

But now that SC has mentioned that players might be able to obtain one of these rare units in a later release it makes me wonder if they actually ARE some kind of key to solving this - and those players that won one of these units in the tournament simply have a head-start...

But people have already dispatched elementals to the HoC and learned nothing more interesting than "the army survives and decides to leave and not push their luck"... I'm wondering what else could be tried using elementals, can't think of much at the moment tbh.

I too think it was mainly to avoid loosing the elemental. I dont consider HoC as a mystery - it could be an ultra dangerous hostile faction (melders) that haunts the forest. 

Once the factions go live, melders might also have mysteries associated with them. As of now, there is probably nothing there.

have we had any new developments on this?  Dev's mentioned in live stream that there were still secrets ppl hadn't figured out yet...  and this thing has just been sitting there....  maybe we are meant to simply feed it and see what the ending result will be.

no, this is not a ploy to keep a square that troops would have otherwise been sent to.  perhaps I will ship out any left-over troops when the tourny is over. 

SC - can you drop us a hint on this one....
