As many of have known from Belegar's forum post here: http://forum.illyriad.co.uk/down-with-tyranny-an-attack-on-king-sigurd_topic6682.html,
the King Sigurd player lost the rainbow for about 1.5 days starting on Nov 18 6:25 PM. While Belegar attempted to sack The Summer Court, I sieged The Summer Court, Council of Illyria and The Outpost, with the help of some alliance mates.

The Outpost fell first without any resistance from magic or military. The weak level 2 mage tower was destroyed in the early bombardments, so there were no runes left.

Then came the disastrous attempt to capture The Summer Court, which met the same fate as Belegar's troops

The city was left standing with about 300 pop left. The mage tower was supposedly destroyed, so it seems as if the rune came from Stormcrow's city itself. Interestingly enough, the deleveling of the mage tower was quite intermittent. First it went to level 10:

Then, it went directly to level 7 down to 6, without any other deleveling of 9,8, or 7 in between.

Then came the capture of Council of Illyria, which was successful. (Siege was slowed because of a coincidental arrival of another player's troops.)

Nothing is special about that city so far, almost no research and no discoveries at all. Though it did have over 34k beers, and The Summer Court had a (former) level 17 tavern, which says something about Sigurd's drinking habits.
