An excellent chart! I had just recently considered making a similar chart myself, as I have always found the minute charts tough to reconcile with build times.

What about this one: http://www.puzzleslogic.com/illy/troops.html

It has charts that divide def and attack by build time and highlight the best scores for each race.

edit: it also includes all terrain modifiers!

Myzel, probably 95% of Illyriad uses that chart. It is an excellent tool. However, while it is great for showing relative advantages, the metric of (stat * 100 / build time in seconds) isn't as intuitive as soldiers/hour or stat/hour.

Both tools have their place. Hiei's chart shows the production rate; Mogul's chart shows the relative strengths and weaknesses by terrain, upkeep and build time.

Agreed, both charts will be used by anyone with a military bent.

Nice work Hiei.

Nice work indeed, Hiei. :)

Are you going to add Movement and Siege Engines at some point?

To me there is very little difference between two tables that differ only by a scaling factor.

That said, having the unit icons in the table makes it much easier to interpret at a glance, nicely done.
