No we did not cap the rams. I had no idea when we began how fast a wall siege would go. Next time a limit on rams would help duplicate a real siege better

On my side, we haven't been able to field many forces with 30 rams. Most people rushed to start building them when we announced and declared war. For NS 15 is a very large ram force to send.

Yea, 15 Rams can just about get 20 wall levels down in a day, including set up.

Personally, I like that it's fast, considering how short my attentio....

It takes 12 hours for 15 rams to destroy 20 levels of wall?

o.O

What's the hit rate on rams? Even catapults are like 25% in the first hour. I would have expected it to take maybe 5-6 hours tops in the scenario you just described.

My only experience thus far was 10 Rams took down 6 levels in 8 hours. As for 25% in the first hour for Cats, I've not generally seen that. That's kinda high from my experience. Maybe I just have bad luck, or maybe it's just too damned cold up here for the siege engine crews.

I have it on good authority that dwarves are better than everybody at pretty much everything that matters. But we... uh, they are particularly better at firing catapults.

I have some records from my last couple of sieges. I had 3 hits total using 18 rams in 2 hours of attacks. In another using 10 rams I had 3 hits in 3 hours

The War of Walls has come to an end. Dozens of commanders have been promoted, thousands of brave souls have been returned to their homeland to be laid to rest with honor and much has been learned on both sides, while vast amounts of goods and treasure and raw materials have exchanged hands.

HAGER of TVM and Skint Jagblade of ~NS~ proudly and distinctively served as Commanding Generals of their respective sides. Both of these exceptional leaders stepped forward to take charge, making the exercise a fun and worthy event for all of those participating members. Thank you Generals!

Many members on both sides served with honor. Without their involvement the War of Walls would have been a mere dream of a few hopeful leaders. However, because the members of both the Night Squires and TRIVIUM joined in and committed themselves to this exercise with every bit of fervor they could muster, willing to gain or loose as the winds of war dictated, this War of Walls was an astounding success and a testament to the fun that can be had if we are willing to give it a chance.

Here's to glorious victory, to all the lucky souls who had at it and to future wars and all the fame and fun that is to come!
