Jaxie decided to exodus rather than potentially loosing the town on bad terrain she decided to move the town to a defensive position on a forest she prestige built her walls back up and Weareallhappy slammed a 142k Fang army against her city which was being defended by Kobolts from PM and winter. It was an interesting battle ! OOMONKEYO wanted to keep the cities in the location for defensive training so he refused to exodus- We decided to defend Infant behind high walls and a mountain we filled it up with mainly Kobolts from 2 Orc accounts-Winter and Pompey Magnus to kill off cavalry clearing armies while only loosing cheap tier 1 Kobolts. We got better ratios and better kills than originally expected! OOMONKEYO fell asleep forgot to prestige build and the town was razed before we could do more for that town. The town of College was left to be razed with Minimal attempts at the camp or defense of the town,It was a well timed siege offensive by Iron and we will give credit. Most clearing armies remained in cities and Pompeys city was far when we sent reinforcements which arrived late unfortunately. We did deploy cavalry to Gramsfoot when 3 iron players dropped from the alliance to do an independent siege on Empress Zenobia. EZ launched T2 cavalry from her Northmarch city and catched the blockades on plains while Cookie who is nearby killed off the first 2 sieges which were composed of 1 soldier and 30 engines and 30 rams before reinforcements arrived. OOOMONKEYO pre-launched cavalry and caught 120k Spears on plains which were killed off in the first hit. Weareallhappy landed 1 more blockade and siege which he later recalled before Roman reserve cavalry could arrive to the location for a battle the 2 armies were 130k kobolts and a second 150k fang army.

Following the exodus of 'Bulfontein', Iron put into motion a large number of army movements to many different RE cities with defensively-advantageous terrain, with the hopes to confuse our enemy and pin down multiple cities from moving, and then siege them. Instead of fighting an obvious siege on a large hill, they were forced to contend with this confusion. On the 15th of May at 13:00, a blockade landed on the towns 'infant' and 'college' belonging to OOMONKEYO. 12 hours later, both blockades were swapped out via messenger for a siege, along with another blockade landing on Pompey Magnus' 'ImUrHuckleberry'. RE's strategy appeared to consist of heavily reinforcing the town of 'infant', which sat on a small mountain, while hitting the sieges themselves with only smaller armies. Iron wasted much cavalry clearing RE off of that mountain, but eventually succeeded, and the victory was glorious! 17 May 2018 10:04 college, belonging to OOMONKEYO which was located at -661|-1967 has been razed by King Sigerius. 17 May 2018 11:45 infant, belonging to OOMONKEYO which was located at -655|-1975 has been razed by Spektor. In the meantime, a siege was launched to 'ImUrHuckleberry'. More reinforcements were raced out there as soon as they could be, hoping to beat RE's clearing armies. The siege landed 17 May 2018 17:46. This siege, along with its accompanying plains blockades, faced more RE attacks than the other two sieges, with them correctly determining that it was only composed of "extra" troops. The city also sat on a small mountain, but RE defensive troops must have been already busy, as none arrived. 19 May 2018 02:55 ImUrHuckleberry, belonging to Pompey Magnus which was located at -527|-2163 has been razed by Lord Sunshine. It was a fun few days. Soon after, peace was agreed upon. |

I've set sitters before as part of a PoW thing with SIN
Only problem is that if you leave your account logged in all the time, you block said sitters... |

Sitting is not a common term, although if I remember correctly, the GA requested sitter rights of several people in prior wars. Generally terms are restricted to requirements to depart a particular area, or pay a certain amount of gold or advanced resources. Sometimes leaders or members are asked to forfeit a city or two.
In this era of Illyriad, I think departure is probably the most reasonable request. Payments and punishments have always struck me as needlessly vindictive. |

Out of interest, is sitting rights as part of surrender a typical term imposed on the loser? I can't see how anyone would ever agree to that.

Rome also won't put any effort into making up their own solutions, so we're at an impasse here.

I am not amused.

Iron was joined by Hell at the very start of the war and RE knew it would so stop crying wolf. As for peace Rome Will not be paying 10 billion gold to anyone especially Iron and neither will we allow you to have sitter acess to our leadership accounts.

Iron offers all Roman Empire members the opportunity to negotiate an individual peace agreement with Iron Alliance. The leadership of the Roman Empire approached our leadership in regards to ending the war with Iron. However, during the negotiations process it became clear the PK was not serious in his intentions of seeking peaceful resolution to this conflict. Remember it was your leadership who declared on Iron Alliance when it had a mere 17 members and most members were sitting on 2 plus month old accounts. Having just lost 3 towns in Westmarch and Coanhora your leadership approached us about ending the war. After 48 hours of negotiations it is clear that Rome's leadership was not serious hence we extend the opportunity to individual members of the Roman Empire. The consequences of the failure of Rome's leadership to peacefully resolve this will become eminently clear soon.
