I don't know of a better way.  I just thought I would weigh in with something productive.  I applaud your efforts to somehow score the conflict, actually.  I like it better than the traditional way of comparing cities lost.

How are you getting the charts you're posting here?
Is there a way to dump them into a spreadsheet?

Steps to recreating these stats:
1. Go to the Alliance Leaderboard page and copy all stats related to a given alliance.
2. Go to a pre-defined spreadsheet and paste that data.
3. Repeat this for all alliances on each side.
4. Build formulas in the spreadsheet to sum stats for each side.
6. Using the initial data as the baseline, create an identical section in your spreadsheet for current stats.
7. Build formulas to calculate the numeric and percentage deltas between current and baseline.

Day 27. I've added SAINT as a newcomer to the Grand Alliance after BayNight's successful siege on 300's Ten Kulch. If anyone knows of additional participants in the war, please let me know.

Also, I'm getting 500 Internal Server Error messages when I try to post updated stats on the forums. It appears to be related to the size of the tables. That said, I'm going to just paste the link to the Google Sheet here for the time being, and going forward I will archive the previous "current stats" on a separate tab to allow for a view of historic data for those that enjoy it. Also, if you like the data in spreadsheet form, hit that "Thanks" link above or drop me a line in game so I know to keep doing it. :)

If anyone knows the workaround that will allow for pasting large tables from Google Sheets into this buggy forum, lemme know! :)

Day 28.

It is notable that 300 has four fewer cities than last update - a decrease of 6.5% of their cities in roughly 24 hours. Presumably at least some of those are in exodus. I've seen sieges by BayNights and Hucbold in GC, and multiple Legendary Battles reported outside 300's cities. Insights welcome!

TEA also lost a member and six cities, an 8.8% decrease in their towns.

I've also noticed that WoT has been inactive for weeks, and SV for days. If they disband, I will obviously remove them from the stats.

Lots happening!

I was thinking about the stats.

Population, Build, Diplo, magic, tech, quest, and trade is irrelevant so maybe get rid of them so the report seems less confusing.

percentage delta isn't much help when the starting numbers are so different.

Attack and Defense numbers are correlated as they are fighting each other (assuming the participants are not engaged in anything big with a third party).

For final stats:
Maybe look at the ratio of attack growth to defense growth between the opposing sides.
Change in number of players and cities to both sides. (the true indicator)
