Day 24. While VALOR has announced their surrender, I haven't seen an acceptance of that surrender from the SINdicate. Given it only takes one willing participant to have a war, I will be including VALOR in the Grand Alliance side until it is confirmed they are no longer being targeted.

Also, I am renaming what I was previously calling "Elgean Alliances" to "Grand Alliance", as that seems to be a name that has stuck on both sides. Also, in the absence of a broadly accepted name, I propose that this conflict be referred to as the Grand Sin war...seems somehow appropriate. ;)

Thanks for providing these stats Mafro. And yes, peace with Valor is accepted, there is no longer a status of war between ta2in and valor.

Hucbold removed midav from Aesir as he knew i was inbound to siege. Now, he will probably come up with something like, he was inactive or similar, the fact of the matter is, he cannot meet my forces head on and booting midav was the only way he could attempt to save face. 

The counter argument to his "inactive" reasoning would be, by letting me siege gives the free pot shots to take at my troops relatively safely with only losing the town of an "inactive" player. 

The fact that aesir is not able to repel a siege or even meet my troops head on, in their heartland region ragallon/windlost is very telling. This move by hucbold has clearly demonstrated to me that aesir and everyone I am at war with have 0 chance of defeating my troops head on. 

Thanks for the complete and utter capitulation.

If so: Have you considered weighting the scores?  I'm not sure a high defense score means you are winning, for example, it just means you are getting attacked.
Like, maybe a ratio of defense score to troops lost would be a more accurate means of scoring your performance on the receiving end of a battle?

I agree these stats are not the ideal way to score a conflict, but I don't know of a better way. If you know a way to quickly and easily collect better data (like troops lost), please post it.

The best method is probably just public analysis by the commanders, assuming they are willing to share information. Every major battle tells a story. Stats can never fully encompass what really happens on the battlefield.
