I more or less agree with Diva on this why not have King S visit one or two more times During rainbow? Also the feeding of newbs is a good thing it helps retain more if they are driven into gc to even ask "what do i do to increase my resource output?" and we all start engaging them in convo.

I heard in GC today (who said it still eludes me, but it was a great idea), that King Sigurd could visit more often under the Rainbow providing (computerly<-- new word) in relation to the growth of said newbie basic resources
--- Leave it to the game to retain players first, THEN introduce themselves into GC for larger care-a-vans ... and requested information... I personally think a LOT is lost when its still a hour old newbie to a few days. Gives them time to RESEARCH on their own (read) how the game is growth and time to really get an understanding. imho

How about instead, just make a new city (new players' 1st city) start with all level 12 buildings. Alleviate the inane and boring micromanaging aspect of the game.
If that is not far enough, towns created via setters would scale similarly. So, for example: 2nd Town (settlers): all the resource and basic building plots start at level 11 3rd Town (settlers): all the resource and basic building plots start at level 10 4th Town (settlers): all the resource and basic building plots start at level 9 5th Town (settlers): all the resource and basic building plots start at level 8 6th Town (settlers): all the resource and basic building plots start at level 7 7th Town (settlers): all the resource and basic building plots start at level 6 8th Town (settlers): all the resource and basic building plots start at level 5 9th Town (settlers): all the resource and basic building plots start at level 4 10th Town (settlers): all the resource and basic building plots start at level 3 ...et al |

Which in turn has caused a healthy rebound in market prices for commodities. I think the game has gained more than it lost by enforcing the sitter time limit. If we have a few less caravans around to supply new players, so be it. |

There are a number of ways to help new players without gifting. Every new player is near a hub, so posting fairly priced sell orders would work.

I do not think that players need 3 acccount to solve this problem. As new players grow and get more cities they can help newer player to the game. I know personally, I am a newish player and I have allready started to help player that are newer than I am with resources.
I will say having more vans in a city would help this process go faster. So I will agree having say 100 vans in a city would be helpful.

Thanks for the thought Snook. I don't really need extra accounts to help feed newbs. Maybe some extra caravans might be helpful, but that would be only if we got a lot more newbs than we have now. Honestly I'm not a fan of overfeeding newbs, and pretty much only use the caravans from one city for my feeder missions at this time. I think in some ways it might be beneficial if that second caravan from King Sigurd arrived in 4-6 hours instead of 13, but the developers probably know what they are doing on that front.
