This forum topic is a place for alliances in the Broken Lands to post the details of their borders and land claims, as well as a place for players to easily access all land claim information in one central location. Alliances with land claims are encouraged to post their details in a reply below, as well as on their profile page. Please be as clear and specific as possible, and title your post with a large heading. This is so that readers can quickly identify land claim details amid some of the other administrative chatter in this forum. In addition to this forum topic, a BL land claim map has also been established (pictured above), which can also be accessed here. The map will be updated whenever new claims are made or older claims are altered. Feel free to make this link available on alliance profiles as well. The image above will be updated in this forum topic as the map changes. Please do not use this forum topic to discuss land claims as an issue. GM Rikoo has agreed to enforce this topic as an informational-only thread. Discussions should be held elsewhere on the forum. Thank you! On June 3rd, a new feature was added to the alliance land claim map. "Prominent Alliance Clusters" (PACs) demarcate regions on the map where alliances have made substantial investments in clustering and regionalizing their cities, but have not yet made a formal land claim announcement. The idea behind representing PACs are twofold 1) to give a more complete representation of regionalized alliance organization on the Broken Lands map, and 2) to help prospective alliance land claimers easily identify potential early conflicts in making a claim of their own. PACs are marked on the map with faint alliance ticker symbols and include hyperlinks to their respective alliances' profile pages. BL Alliances: Thinking about claiming lands in the Broken Lands? T-SC land claim Towns and cities settled or exodused into the aforementioned area prior to this date will not be affected by this policy. Application procedures to settle within the T-SC land claim without joining T-SC 1st, The applicant sends an IGM to Takeda Shingen listing the following information: coords wanting to move to, all coords if they have several cities planned out, reason(s) they like that spot(s) and feel they should be allowed to move there, what their general plans in illy are after they do move to that location, any alliance(s) they are thinking about joining and at the end it should have a line stating they are forwarding this message to J.Froelich and mjc2
2nd, they forward the sent message to J.Froelich and mjc2 3rd, the 3 T-SC officers all read the message and look into our particular areas of expertise and see how the applicant settling in the requested coords would affect T-SC and other players that have already made plans in the area. 4th, the 3 T-SC officers meet up and talk the issue over, if we decide that we would like the applicant as a neighbor and the requested spot(s) do not interfere with any other player's approved settlement plans we grant it. If the application is rejected we will inform the applicant of the reason why it is rejected. If rejected only due to those coords interfering with another player's plans then we will also make some suggestions on where else they can go that would meet their desires and not interfere with any other player's plans as well as the name of the player whose plans they would be interfering with. If the 2 players come to an agreement they both must message mjc2 to let him know about the agreement. edit on 29 Oct this claim has been revoked, for full details please read here https://illyriadtimes.wordpress.com/category/alliance-posts/ Edited by mjc2 - 29 Oct 2015 at 14:58 |

Hashashin Land Claim in Northern Fellandire
Effective April 08, 2015, The Hashashin (SIN) claimed all land in Fellandire north of y=-2502. All cities settled or exodused in the Hashashin land claim prior to April 8 were grandfathered in and are free to remain and continue to grow. Any cities settled or exodused into the land claim after April 8 that are not affiliated with SIN, HALO, or Infamy [Fam] will be asked to leave and/or removed by the Hashashin. Unaffiliated players who accidentally settle into the SIN land claim can avoid removal by joining HALO, SIN's gateway alliance, or Fam. Although confederated with SIN, Fam is a completely separate, non-military alliance with a focus on trade. SIN offers players who need to relocate their cities via exodus assistance in finding new plots in the BL outside of the SIN claim and some basic res if needed to help offset losses caused by exodus. The Broken Blades' Declaration of Sovereignty Effective from 9th May 2015, the Broken Blades lay claim to the northern reaches of the Orken Coast. Our territory reaches from the mainland's western coast to the eastern regional borders, and from co-ordinates -2790 in the south to -2600 in the north. The island of Shqur-Mich-Kalj is not part of this claim. Pre-established towns within these boundaries are permitted. However, any future settlements must be approved by the Council. Requests or queries should be sent to Shogun no Yari. Edited by Shûl-nak - 19 May 2015 at 05:00 |

Keep this forum thread for what it was designed for: to post claims.
This forum is not to debate the claims. If you want to discuss the whys, whats and whos of land claiming, start another thread. I will begin deleting posts that veer off the original topic. GM Rikoo

I apologize if this has already been addressed, but I am concerned the Broken Blades border may be drawn incorrectly.
Does their claim, infact, include the north western isle off the Orken Coast? Their claim states: "Our territory reaches from the western coast to the eastern regional borders", which to my interpretation says the western border follows the coastline down Orken to south -2600, from approx 250 (x axis), gradually getting farther out as the coastline expands, eventually reaching approx 80 (x axis), but not including the island to the west of the coast. If this could be clarified, it would be helpful. Thank you. edit: I posted this here because I am not intending to challenge the claim, just attempting to clarify. Though, if this is not the correct forum do address this, please feel free to delete or move as appropriate. Edited by Panacea - 19 May 2015 at 03:42 |

Panacea is right. Our claimed land covers only the main landmass of the Orken Coast. We will adjust the claim to clarify; apologies for any confusion. If the map could be edited to reflect this that would be grand.

Just an update on the land claim map: I did consult with Broken Blades and adjusted the map accordingly. You'll note a small changelog below the first post in this thread, which I'll update as changes are made to the map. Thanks!
