Since some time on Friday (May 1st), chromium has been unable to complete loading of any page, aside from the Login page (which is where I end up after a while, because no page has loaded enough to talk to the server). I see the "Welcome to Illyriad" banner and the page-top controls (including the little green blob that tells me I have two unread player mails - that I can't get at). Those controls don't, when I hover them, show the side-blobs for their subordinate pages. The city-change arrows to either side of the drop-down don't do anything, but the drop-down itself does work - although the page-top controls all get dimmed when I use it, suggesting the city-change hasn't completed.

I am effectively shut out of the game.

I've just loaded it ok in chrome so I would say the problem lies at your end. Have you installed any new addons to chrome or new versions of existing ones? If so try disabling them then reloading. Also try clearing your cache (not sure how to do it in chrome).

If neither of those work can you try another browser? If it works then it would point to a problem with chrome.

Are you suffering from low bandwidth on your internet connection? That can cause problems with some graphic intensive sites.

I'll keep thinking about other possible solutions but if you get it sorted can you drop me a IGM (Tensmoor) to let me know.

I see what looks like a vast wall of css, without linebreaks.

Quote Also try going via https <a href="https://elgea.illyriad.co.uk/Account/LogOn" rel="nofollow">https://elgea.illyriad.co.uk/Account/LogOn</a>

That's the log-in page that I can indeed see just fine.
However, when I use it to log in, I get the "Welcome to Illyriad" banner as described above, with no useful page in sight.

I've now cleared chromium's cache (Settings -> Privacy -> Clear browsing data... has it among the options).
That got the whole mess unwedged and I now see pages again.
Yay !

Eddy, be sure to log out and try it again as well. If you repeat the issue, try TC's steps.

Thanks!

Rikoo

That's a lovingly hand crafted wall of css, organically over many years...
